Vehicles that have established a qualifying run get first priority on the track the following day to do their return run. We were at our spot by sunrise Tuesday to get set up for the 7:00AM opening. Temperatures had been in the high 90's the day before, but this morning we were wishing we had brought jackets until the sun got high enough to start warming us up.
