Before climbing we had to get the classic picture of Prusik Peak from Gnome Tarn. (I asked my lady friend not to take that pose but she insisted.) The route we took was the West Ridge, going up the left profile in this picture, mostly just the other side of the ridge. However, on the final lead to the summit we took a detour I have not found in any route descriptions, so I will claim the variation for myself!

Below and right of Prusik is the High Priest (we'll get to him later). If one clicks on the picture and zooms in to the High Priest, on may understand why Fred Beckey was reminded of Nixon's Nose when viewing from this angle.
