At Lava Tower, the dining tent and toilet tent were set up for our lunch break. Arthur was well enough to eat a good lunch. Meanwhile, I had resolved to eat only as much as I felt comfortable with. It was perhaps not enough to sustain me, but I had enough built-in reserves to tide me over for the trip. This was the highest any of us had ever been and we were all feeling well, so our prospects as a team were much improved from the morning.
